ROOFTEK PREP #3154G is a high-tensile strength coating for use as the first coat to improve the adhesion to polyurethane foam and other roofing substrates. It was designed to penetrate and bond to reinforcement fabrics where required, as well as act as a bonding primer to enhance the adhesion of SOLATEK topcoats over built-up, modified bitumen, wood, concrete, single-plys, spf or previously coated surfaces. ROOFTEK PREP #3154G is a flexible, waterproof base for applying the finish coats and adds 6 mils/gallon/100sq.ft. to the total system which eliminates the labor and material cost of other clear and/or low solids primers. It also wets into existing substrates or existing coatings to lock down residual dust or contamination, thereby maximizing adhesion of the subsequent acrylic topcoat. ROOFTEK PREP #3154G also blocks the migration of asphaltic oils, so that the SOLATEK finish coats can be applied without risk of the bleed-through problems often associated with conventional roof coating systems. RUSTEK PREP METAL PRIMER #4-100 is a single component, water borne, low viscosity, highly penetrating, advanced acrylic primer that develops a high strength bond to existing metal substrates. It was designed as a bonding primer to enhance the adhesion of SOLATEK topcoats over previously painted, unpainted or rusted metal substrates. RUSTEK PREP #4-100 forms a flexible, waterproof base for applying the SOLATEK finish coats. It wets into existing metal substrates or existing coatings to lock down residual dust or contamination, thereby maximizing adhesion of the subsequent acrylic topcoat.
MASTEK #3156 ACRYLIC MASTIC is a water-based, high solids elastomeric sealant utilizing the latest advances in acrylic technology. Its thick, buttery consistency allows it to be easily worked into vertical seams on metal roofs, gaps in flashings and around protrusions, and into heavily alligatored areas in weathered built-up roofing. MASTEK #3156 is manufactured from a unique acrylic resin specifically designed to provide increased tensile strength and elongation on problem roof areas. It is ideally suited for sealing mechanical fasteners and horizontal seams on metal roofs, around flashings, drains and protrusions, and for sealing HVAC ducting and equipment. It has excellent adhesion to asphaltic roofing, metal, concrete, wood, all single-ply roofing systems and polyurethane foam. MASTEKTHANE #3176 is a single component polyurea-urethane liquid flashing that can be used over a variety of roofing substrates including modified bitumen, built-up roofing, metal, spray polyurethane foam, wood, concrete and a variety of single-ply systems. Its fast curing time helps the applicator save time. MASTHANE #3176 can be used as part of a complete cool roof restoration system for the SOLATEK roof systems, SOLATEK PREMIUM ACRYLIC #3151, SOLATEK PROFESSIONAL ACRYLIC #3140, SOLATEK HS SILICONE #3181, and SOLATEK URETHANE #3182. Also used for repairs of existing systems, roof repairs such as flashings, penetrations and seams. TEKFAB is stitchbonded, 100% polyester materials made specifically for use with elastomeric coatings in roof membrane construction. Stitchbonded polyester is one of the strongest fabrics available for adding reinforcement to seams, splits, joints, cracks, protrusions and flashings. TEKFAB offers an unusual combination of high strength properties and good elongation for excellent thermal stress resistance. The fabric is very pliable and is designed to conform to irregular and dissimilar surfaces more easily than other soft fabrics. TEKFAB has high absorption capability, allowing it to easily wet into and become encapsulated by the liquid roofing membrane, forming tough, waterproof details or overall reinforcement.
