RUSTEK PREP #4-100 is a single component, water borne, low viscosity, highly penetrating, advanced acrylic primer that develops a high strength bond to existing metal substrates. It was designed as a bonding primer to enhance the adhesion of SOLATEK topcoats over previously painted or unpainted metal substrates. RUSTEK PREP #4-100 forms a flexible, waterproof base for applying the SOLATEK finish coats. It wets into existing metal substrates or existing coatings to lock down residual dust or contamination, thereby maximizing adhesion of the subsequent acrylic topcoat.
